Dust : Best type PD were steady to dearer by USC2 to USC5 and finer types were steady to easier by USC3 to USC7. Medium and plainer types PD were easier by USC3 to USC5 and finer types were barely steady.
Buying pattern :Packeters and internals were active. Exporters were silent.
Cochin Leaf
Orthodox Leaf: Good demand.
High Grown: Highgrowns were irregular.
Medium: Medium types OPAL, OP, GFOP wee easier by USC8 to USC14 depending on quality. Other grades were barely steady to sometimes easier by USC to USC 3. Offerings were substantially lower.
Buying pattern: Packeters internals and Exporters were active.
Coonoor
Leaf: Good demand.
Best types were irregular. Bright liquoring good black types were barely steady while others were easier by USC3 to USC8. Medium and plainer types were easier by USC3 to USC8 depending on quality. Off take was considerably low at 60% of the offered quantity.
Buying pattern: Packeters and internals were active. Exporters were selective.
Dust: Good demand.
Best types were irregular. Bright liquoring types were steady to easier by USC3 to USC7 and depending on quality. Medium and plainer types were steady to easier by USC3 to USC5 except for finer grades which were irregular.
